Today we had a follow-up appointment with his GI doctor that did his endoscopy. She was really sweet and told us that now that he has this diagnosis that she can no longer treat him. She told us that she will put a rush on getting him an appointment at the EE clinic because of his high levels.
She also increased his laxative dosage and told us to do a "clean-out" on him this weekend with Milk of magnesia. She thinks that if he has a good "clean-out" that his constipation will not be so bad.
Tomorrow I will call and get our appointment scheduled with the EE clinic at CHOC.

Thank you so much for your blog. It's rare to find someone with similar issues as my son. My son has extreme allergies as well. He's allergic to everything except 8 food items. This has been a HUGE challenge, but fortunately he was born to a baker. I opened a custom order bakery called Sensitive Sweets. ReplyDeleteIf you ever need a cake, I can customize it to your sons intolerances. Most of my customers have allergies to gluten, eggs, and dairy. I see that your son has an allergy to rice, but not gluten. I can accommodate this as well. BTW, I'm planning a fundraiser in July for families with food allergies in Costa Mesa. Hello I am sixteen and I have EE as well and had extreme allergic to everything. I know how he feels. I am in renession right now. I am glad that there is poeple like me out there. Last summer I went to a camp that showed me that I am not the only one with illnesses. I have several and it's a challenge. I hope your some gets better,
